Shivajataamani
Among the many time tested mystic energy Yogic Tools of Vedic Rishis, RUDRAKSHA and SHIVAJATAAMANI stand out as unique for various specific reasons. Aksha in Sanskrit means the eye. Rudra Aksha is the eye of Rudra. Shiva is another name of Rudra. Both of these beads are spiritually associated with Bhagavan Shri Rudra who is one of the Vedic Trinities of divinity. These two beads are identified as natural fruits of a Himalayan tree botanically named as ELAEOCARPUS GANITRUS. Rudraksha fruits are visible in bunches on the branches of the Rudraksha tree. Shivajataamani beads are rarely found below the ground as overgrowth on the roots of the Rudraksha tree. Only once in five or six years these beads are located by the wandering Aghori Siddhas in the Himalayas. From these Siddhas the beads are received as blessings by a few fortunate, chosen yogis and sadhaks.
Three terms make the compound word Shiva+Jataa+Mani and each term jointly and severally explains the attributes of this unique bead. Shiva is auspiciousness, Jataa is matted fibrous hair-like structure, and mani is a precious gem, bead which has specific aura colors and energy properties. The Rudraksha beads draw Saura Uurja (solar pranic energy) directly from the sun. But Shivajataamani draws the Saura Uurja through the Earth. For this reason both of these beads facilitate energy healing in so many ways, for example by energizing drinkable water which can be taken under yogic prescription and supervision.
The Rudraksha beads have faces (Mukha) ranging from one to twenty one and are named accordingly such as Eka Mukhi. Different Deities are listed as presiding Gods of these beads, based on the number of Mukhas. Shivajataamani so far gathered display only one feature of converging fibers towards the apex. Hence it is Ekamuhki. But on the bottom clear patterns of beautiful petals is found. The sample bead submitted for Yogic verification has seven petals. The presiding Deity of Shivajataamani is revealed as Shri Aghora Mrityunjaya Rudra.
Shivajataamani is one of the many divine spiritual tools which are manifest through Soorya Devata. This is identified to have great spiritual potential through Soorya Yog by Shri Soorya ji.
Acharya Dr S Ramakrishna Sharma has conducted upasana based Yogic verification of Shivajataamani.
“In this busy modern world, the purity of body and mind is attained through Sooryayog (a technique to harness the energy of the Sun for purification of the body, mind and spirit) and through Chidakashyog one attains Self-knowledge.”
Shivajataamani, a blessing received through Sooryayog is a very rare energy booster, purifier and soul elevating divine bead. It is presided over by Bhagavan Sri Aghora Mrutyunjaya.
